March talk

!U3ACommunities Computing

I'm wondering what we should talk about in our March meeting (this month is OpenSource software).

One idea is email delivery ... we've touched on this before and its on my mind at the moment with u3acommunities & u3asocial email deliveries !

Thoughts ?

I don't have any burning issues, so "email delivery" is as good as any, I would think.

Also thinking about "vibe coding with generative AI".

Not something I want to use, but technology is interesting at least.

You touched on email delivery in an earlier webinar, and I think it was a public/private key interchange rather like passkeys. If that's so, would it also be an idea to anticipate the type of software that the government wallet for ID registration/checking might be and the software/browser and chip requirements for it? As it's still on track to be introduced in 2027, I want to know if my phone will be adequate! (And our group too, perhaps)

Thanks ... Good idea, although I'm not sure there is a lot of info available yet about the government Id system.

Peter,
Until about 2016 email delivery was simple. Or at least a lot simpler.
I have implemented SPF, DKIM and DMARC for a domain I support. If you understand DNS it is not too difficult, but few do.
So yes email delivery would be a good topic.
