We've made the shortlist for Best Independent Festival at the Access All Areas Awards 2026!
We cranked the independence-metre up considerably this year, by becoming the UK's first employee owned festival, and it's lush to be recognised for showing that there's an ethical, people-first alternative to the creeping corporate consolidation of our beloved industry, by major conglomerates ✊
There's no public voting on this one, but please keep all your fingers and toes crossed for us! 🤞

The magic of HSG is that the entire venue is run exclusively by people aged no older than 23. From management to build, programming to performers, decor, tech, even the photographers. 100% for the youth, by the youth. And it's always SO. BLOODY. GOOD.

Lake days were made for ALSO 🌊
Our gorgeous half-mile-long Capability Brown-designed lake took centre stage this year with oh-so-many ways to enjoy the water.
Hundreds of wild swims, paddleboarding and myriad lakeside moments, it was the perfect place to slow down and soak up the summer.
We’d love to be lounging lakeside…

There’s something special about ALSO after dark. 🌙
As the sun goes down, the site come alive in a totally different way. . . Music drifts across the site, lights twinkle through the trees, late night cabaret slinks into life, friends gather for another drink and to dance on late into the night.
