We’re so excited to be welcoming Grammy Award-winning, London-based trumpet player, composer and producer Ife Ogunjobi to The Next Stage this year 🎺

As part of Association of Independent Festivals Festival Week, we’ve been looking back at some of the incredible artists who’ve come through Shambala over the years - including Ezra Collective, who first played the festival back in 2017 before going on to become one of the most exciting live bands in the UK.

So it feels extra special to now have Ife - Ezra Collective’s trumpet player - joining us for a solo set this August. We can’t wait for this one ✨

Today marks the start of the first ever Association of Independent Festivals Festival Week, a national campaign celebrating the UK’s independent music festival scene!

The whole thing's got us feeling all kinds of nostalgic about partying in fields with you lot over the last 25 years - and digging through the Sham photo archives has turned up some absolute gems! 🫶

Last week to apply for our Future Music: Pathway to Success programme, supported by Arts Council England 🎉

The programme targets a diverse range of early-career artists looking to build experience, offering development workshops with industry professionals, marketing and promotion, help adapting performance for outdoor events as well as the opportunity to perform to a festival audience.

The project also encompasses the 'Women in Sound' initiative nurturing early-career female technicians with a skills-based workshop run by an industry professional and paid shifts at ALSO26 and ALSO27.
