Happy World Poetry Day, Shambalans! 📝🎤

Our lyrical line-up for 2026 is already looking top-tier, with the likes of Georgie Jones, Joshua Idehen, Tyrone Lewis and Davina Songbird bringing the heat + loads more!

If you’re a poet and you absolutely know it - and want to see your own name on that list - there’s still time to get involved and show it. Hit the link below and apply to perform by midnight on Sunday 29th March 👇

This year, we’re also ushering in some changes to the poetic map as we say a massive thank you and farewell to the Phantom Laundry stage. It’s been a beacon for spoken word at Shambala for years, and we’re hugely grateful to the amazing community who gave it its pulse - plus the hundreds of performers who lit up the stage, rhymed their socks off and inspired us all.

You’ll now find spoken word and poetry scattered all over the site at stacks of different venues, with the legendary Poetry Slam finding its new home at Talu - our shoes-off haven for deep thinkers and global folk voices.
