Today is #InternationalDayOfZeroWaste, which feels like the perfect moment to introduce you to Evrythng Spirits - our radical new zero waste spirits supplier for 2026! 🥃
In 2014 Shambala effectively killed single-use plastic cups by pioneering the deposit-based reusable cup system. And this year we're going after single use glass behind the scenes.
Evrythng - the not-for-profit spirits company - is supplying rum, gin and vodka under a zero waste, zero recycling, zero landfill model. Every single item of packaging they bring on site is either returned to the distillery for reuse or stored onsite for next year's festival. From the 10L jerry cans that the bulk of the products come in, to the glass bottles the bars use and refill, to the cardboard boxes they are delivered in, every item is reused instead of being recycled or sent to landfill.

Since launching our Pay It Forwards: Share The Love initiative back in 2022, Shambala’s amazing attendees, crew and artists have raised over £54,000, to open up the festival to those on low incomes who could not attend otherwise.
PIF packages include festival tickets, travel, food and camping equipment for the weekend, and the ballot is now open via Tickets for Good to people experiencing financial hardship or social disadvantage.
